Toshiba Dynabook WT301/D 10.1-inch Windows 7 Tablet PC

Toshiba announced in Japan a new tablet PC running Windows 7, the Dynabook WT301/D. The 10.1-inch device is powered by next-gen Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM and 64GB SSD for storage. The tablet has a 10.1-inch 1366×768 touchscreen with LED-backlit.


The Dynabook WT301/D comes with a 3 Megapixel main camera and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera and supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi connectivity. The Windows 7 tablet offers a USB port and a micro HDMI output. It runs Windows 7 Professional edition.

Apricorn Aegis NetDock Mac Edition Announced

Apricorn announced the Mac Edition of its Aegis NetDock, which is a 3-in-1 USB docking station that works with MacBook/Pro and MacBook Air. The station combines a 4-port USB hub, a DVD dual layer burner, and a 500GB/1TB hard drive into a compact unit. It connects to your Mac notebook via just a single USB connection.



The Aegis NetDock features Auto ON/OFF design that will power NetDock down when not in use, and automatically turn it on when connected to your MacBook. Of course four USB ports, two are Always On meaning you can use them to charge your USB devices such as iPhone/iPod/iPad, smartphones, MP3 players..etc. The DVD burner supports writing DVD+/-R/RW, DVD+/-R DL, DVD+/-R as well as CD-R/RW. The NetDock for Mac is available with 500GB or 1TB hard drive or you can get the model without hard drive so you can install your own.
The Apricorn Aegis NetDock Mac Edition is priced at $199 for 500GB (AND-DVDRW-500ME), $299 for 1TB (AND-DVDRW-1000ME), and just $69 for the model without hard drive (AND-DVDRW).

Olympus LS-100 Linear PCM Recorder

Olympus introduces its new LS-100 portable linear PCM audio recording device with two internal 90-degree directional stereo condenser microphones that capture lower-bass frequencies and louder sound with less clipping. It supports uncompressed 24bit/96Khz linear PCM digital recording.




The Olympus LS-100 comes with two quarter-inch XLR/standard phone combination inputs which support phantom power at 48/24 volts to power a variety of high-quality external microphones. It also features multi-tracking with two-channel simultaneous recording and eight-channel playback. There is built-in instrumentation amplifier cuts slight noise and amplifies signals, allowing the use of lengthy cables.

The LS-100 has a 2-inch backlight LCD display and 4GB internal memory and a SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot. It features Playback Synchro Recording feature enables recording of an additional track while listening to another. The portable recorder includes Voice Guidance that lets the user operate the LS-100 without looking at the display, and Voice Activation for automatic start and stop of the recorder.
Olympus’ new compact LS-100 Multi-Track Linear PCM recorder will be released in February 2012 for $399.
